Google Ads manager accounts

Buyback

Selling an advertising account

Advertising accounts with real charge history are bought against a fixed published scale, running from $15 at the bottom to $750 for the largest. Manager accounts are not bought: they carry no spend, so there is nothing for the scale to read.

Which accounts are bought?

Advertising accounts in good standing, with at least $100 of lifetime spend behind a USD payment profile, at least one campaign that cleared moderation, and at least a month of age. Grey verticals are declined, as are accounts with an open verification demand, an unpaid balance or Russian registration.

Bought

Advertising accounts with charge history and nothing outstanding.

$15 – $750

Not bought

Manager accounts, suspended accounts, grey verticals, mailboxes.

Promotional credits are looked at case by case, and a payment profile is not an absolute requirement, though an account without one rarely has the history that makes it worth anything.

What decides the figure?

Lifetime spend sets the band, and the condition of the account moves it inside that band. Recent charges count for more than older ones, a threshold that visibly climbed alongside the spend counts for more than spend that never moved it, and live campaigns count for more than a dormant account.

Two accounts, same total

One spent its money last quarter with the threshold rising behind it. The other spent the same two years ago and then went quiet.

They are not the same product and they do not fetch the same number.

Why does tidying up cost money?

Because the tidying removes what is being valued. Pausing campaigns, clearing out old ones, unhooking the payment profile and stripping the user list all shrink what the account can demonstrate about itself, and the figure follows the evidence rather than the description.

Hand it over as it runs. If it has already been paused, say that plainly instead of restarting it the night before — a sudden revival the day before handover reads worse than an honest dormant account.

How does the process run?

  3. InspectionCharge history, threshold behaviour, standing, balance, any open verification demand.
  4. Figure confirmedAgainst the published scale, adjusted for condition.

Common questions

Do you buy manager accounts?

No. What is priced is spend, and a manager account has none. Buyback applies to advertising accounts, where the charge history gives the grid something to read.

Should I leave the campaigns running?

Yes. A seller's instinct is to tidy up first, and tidying reduces the figure: paused campaigns, deleted history and a detached payment profile all remove the evidence being paid for. Hand it over mid-flight.

What is the first step?

The ten-digit customer ID. That alone is enough for a first number, and if the account falls outside the conditions you hear so before anyone looks inside it.

Send ten digits

That is the whole of what a first answer needs. Accounts outside the conditions are turned down straight away rather than after an inspection.
